International musicians, including Naga pianist Khyochano TCK, come together for our piano festival.
The power of community is strong in Bengaluru, a city that embraces various forms of arts and culture, as expressed by Khyochano TCK, a Naga pianist bringing the Brillante Piano Festival to the city this weekend. The festival will host musicians from 18 countries and 16 Indian states, uniting for a common purpose. Bengaluru's vibrant cultural scene provides an ideal backdrop for the festival, which originated in Kohima, Nagaland in 2017. The event will feature performances, workshops, competitions, and masterclasses in jazz, contemporary, and classical genres, including a platform for Specially Abled Musicians (SAM). Emphasizing inclusivity, Khyochano states that the festival aims to celebrate and admire special children rather than single them out. The festival exemplifies global artists coming together with a shared vision. Prior to the festival, an interactive street piano event at Church Street showcased the community's engagement through music, highlighting the transformative power of art and music in uniting diverse communities.
